I first heard about bitcoin in early 2017 in the most unconventional way. It was a visit to a Singapore local bank, where I spoke to my financial advisor about setting up a regular savings plan for unit trust. I wanted to know more about his investment background and he mentioned to me that he was trading cryptocurrency in his personal capacity.
It was until July 2017 that is started my first bitcoin purchase and my perception of money changed. The concept of blockchain and decentralization, what it is capable of and what it represents, got me very excited about what the future holds.
Today, I aspire to seek financial freedom the unconventional way. Opportunities are there for those who are willing to hustle and cryptocurrency does put more opportunities on the table! 🙂
